We can incorporate a visit to your chosen distillery, in conjunction with a bespoke historic/sightseeing tour, in and around the areas of the distillery.

A guided tour of the distillery of your choice, which shows you how the Whisky is distilled, or you can opt for a tasting experience. This would be different ages of the Whisky on offer.

Edinburgh-based Whisky Tours

Johnnie Walker Tasting Centre, Princes Street, Edinburgh
Hamish’s Daughter Keanna, is a Manager at the amazing Johnnie Walker Tasting Venue in Edinburgh, which was an £85 million project launched in 2021 and is absolutely worth the experience. From 1820’s Rooftop bar, to spectacular views of Edinburgh Castle, whilst enjoying the fine Cuisine, soaking up the atmosphere.
We have a QR code for this centre and can book this on your behalf, with the most popular tour being The Journey of flavour. The centre has a large range of Johnnie Walker Whisky for sale, including red, blue, and black label brands.
Glenkinchie , Pencaitland, East Lothian
Based in the village of Pencaitland, East Lothian, Glenkinchie is a single malt, which is one of 6 distilleries in the lowland region. This is owned by drinks giant Diageo. In 2021 it underwent a major refurbishment, which makes it a fantastic tasting centre for Whisky lovers.
Glasgow-based Whisky Tours
Glencoyne
This distillery was founded in 1833 at Dumgoyne, North of Glasgow, 20minutes from the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. This whisky is classed as a Lowland Single Malt and won Scotland’s Sustainable Whisky of the Year 2022.
Auchentoshan
This is a single malt whisky based in Clydebank area of Glasgow. This is also a Lowland Single Malt Whisky, where the whisky is triple distilled and matured solely in American Bourbon Casks.
Stirling Whisky Distilleries
Deanston
This was established in 1960 and is located on the banks of the River Teith, 8miles from the historic town of Stirling. This is a Highland Single Malt Whisky.
Pitlochry Whisky Distilleries

Blair Atholl
This is owned by Diageo and is located on the south edge of Pitlochry, Perthshire, near the River Tummel. It is a single malt used in Bells Whisky and is also normally available in a 12 year old bottling.
Oban Whisky Distilleries
Oban Whisky Distillery
Located in the heart of the town of Oban and was founded in 1794. This whisky is known to be a clean and intensely fruity single malt whisky.
On Route to Inverness
Dalwhinnie
This is owned by Diageo and is situated in the Highland village of Dalwhinnie and was founded in 1897. It is a Highland Single Malt and the water used in the production of the whisky comes from the Grampian Mountains in the remote Highlands of Scotland.
Speyside Whisky Trail

MacAllan *****
Founded in 1824, this is a Single Malt Speyside Whisky located in Craigellachie, Moray. In July 2019 they created a fantastic £140million new distillery and visitor experience.
Glenfiddich
Founded in 1887 and is one of the last family-owned distilleries, which is located in the Scottish Burgh of Dufftown, Moray. Glenfiddich means “Valley of the Deer”, hence the Stag logo.
Aberlour
Established 1825, this distillery is situated at the heart of Speyside, Scotland’s Malt Whisky company. It is known for its picturesque location, alongside the River Spey.
Glen Grant
Founded in 1840, in Rothes, Speyside. The Whisky was previously owned by the Chivas brothers ltd, who produced the blended whisky Chivas Regal.
Cragganmore
Founded 1869. This Whisky distillery is situated in the village of Ballindalloch, in Banffshire. This distillery is also situated on the banks of the river Spey.
The GlenLivet *****
Founded in 1824. This distillery sits in a very wild and remote Glen, near Ballindalloch, Moray. This Whisky is one of Speysides best known brands.
The Cardhu
Founded in 1824, this is another famous Speyside Distillery, near Archiestown, Moray. The distillery is now run by Diageo. It is used in the make up of Johnnie Walker blended Whiskies.
Isle of Skye
Talisker *****
Founded in 1860 and now owned by Diageo, Talisker is the oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye, set on the shores of Loch Harport, with dramatic views of the Cuillins. This Whisky is known for it’s peaty flavour and is double distilled. The taste is a mixture of marine salt and fruit that blends nicely into a nice peaty taste. This distillery benefited from a £185million tourism and investment refurbishment, in 2018. This makes it a fantastic experience for a tour.
Isle of Raasay
This is a Scotch Whisky Distillery on the inner Hebridean Isle of Raasay beside the Isle of Skye. It is a relatively young distillery opened in 2014. This Whisky has a light peat flavour, with rich, dark fruit flavours.
Torabhaig
Single Malt Whisky on the Isle of Skye. This is classed as Isle of Skye second distillery and produces a medium peated taste.
Isle of Islay
Ardbeg
This is a single Scotch whisky, situated in the south coast of Isle of Islay, Argyll & Bute and was founded in 1815. It produces a highly peated Islay Whisky. The distillery is owned by Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy.
Laphroaig
This is an Islay single Malt Whisky, founded in 1815 and is named after the area of land at the head of Loch Laphroaig, on the South Coast of the island. The Whisky has a very peaty/smoky flavour.
Bruichladdich
This Whisky was founded in 1881 and is located on the Rhinns on the Isle of Islay and is owned by Remy Cointreau.
Bowmore
This was established in 1779 and is the oldest running distilleries on the Isle of Islay. It is owned by Morrison Bowmore Distillers Ltd, which is part of a Japanese multinational drinks company.
Lagavulin *****
One of the Islands favourite Whisky’s, first founded in 1816 and now owned by Diageo. This whisky is world renowned for its smoky, peaty flavours. It’s favourite year is the 16year old and has a multitude of flavours, that have been built up over the many years of maturation.
